Does it has to do with the study of the Sun that is in our Solar system? No Mr. Solaris is dedicated to Users of an Operating System developed by Sun Microsystem called Solaris. A breif history is that I started out as a hardware engineer in the military working on second generation equipment ( Vaccum Tube and Transistors ). I now work as a independant consultant. My first real unix OS was working on a PDP-11/70 hardware running a version of unix in which was soon replaced by AT&T 3B15 systems running System IV unix OS.
